Dear PA Images, Reuters, AP and the 50+ other companies who are currently working with PicRights:

On behalf of millions of Americans—and that is no exaggeration—I am writing to warn you about the deeply unethical and predatory practices of a company you may currently do business with: PicRights.

At first glance, PicRights may appear to be a legitimate intellectual property enforcement firm. In reality, their business model hinges on intimidation, deception, and exploitation. They rely on aggressive threats, exaggerated scare tactics, and manipulative behavior to extract settlements—often from vulnerable individuals and groups who lack the resources to fight back. Their targets frequently include senior citizens, nonprofit organizations, churches, veterans groups and even individuals with mental disabilities.

This isn’t the outcry of a single disgruntled individual—it is the collective voice of countless victims across the country. A simple Google search will reveal a mountain of testimonies, complaints, and horror stories involving PicRights and their legal partners, Higbee & Associates. I’ve included some of the most telling links below.

So I ask you, and your board:

Why would your company want to be associated with an entity that has built its reputation on fear, harassment, and exploitation?

We are committed to exposing and resisting PicRights’ abusive tactics. And while we fully respect your right to protect your intellectual property, we believe you’ve entrusted the wrong administrator to do so. There are many reputable alternatives available, and we strongly urge you to take a closer look at PicRights’ track record online. Once you do, we’re confident you’ll see that their approach is misaligned with the values your brand stands for. Standing against them is not just good business—it’s the right thing to do.

Finally, be advised: we are preparing to launch a high-impact media campaign targeting PicRights’ unethical and predatory practices. We will be engaging top-tier investigative journalists and media outlets across all platforms to bring these abuses to light. This story has all the makings of headline news, and we are confident it will gain significant traction. You should anticipate being contacted by reporters and news agencies seeking comment on your affiliation with PicRights.

If you do not oversee these decisions, we kindly ask you to please forward this letter to the people that do. Thank you for your time and consideration.
