This will take a few extra minutes but will no doubt be the most powerful and effective thing we can do, together. Remember the rule: follow the money. This is what every successful advocacy group does: they go after the money, the clients, the advertisers.
I’ve made it easy to do this! Below I will post a list of PicRights’ clients – these are the image creators and publishers who have hired PicRights to “protect” their works. I bet most of these companies have no idea how slimy PicRights really is. They need to know.
Email as many of these people as you can. I’ve given you a shortcut below: you can highlight, copy and paste the entire email list all at once. Remember, these are the people that keep PicRights in business! Explain to them, in your own words, why they shouldn’t be working with PicRights, and how PicRights is a predatory, ambulance-chasing, bottom-feeding outfit, that preys on the vulnerable. Insist they sever all ties with PicRights. Remember to be courteous and professional. You can be firm and passionate, but don’t be a d!ck. No need to stoop to PicRights and Higbee’s level – we’re the good guys here, let’s make sure we maintain our class. We’re here to show these companies how awful PicRights is.
HERE is a copy of the letter I send to these companies – I encourage you to read it. You can copy and paste my email, but I encourage you to personalize yours.
